The pandemic brought together Master Darío Robayo and Sergio “Checho” Said with a group of friends from the municipality of Cumaral, Meta.
Master Darío Robayo returns to the ring with a harp that is rediscovering itself to find new sounds. "The challenge is to do things well and capture what we feel in the 21st century in the face of one of the most complex traditional musics in the world," says the Master.
Sergio “Checho” Said puts his saxophone at the service of llanera music, taking the place of the bandola or harp and developing his own style of performance within the ensemble.
The saxophone plays a particular role, accompanying the harp or voice. It evokes the traditional lecos, toñados, japeos and worksongs in the llanera culture.
